I have worked as a photographer for many years. And I came to the conclusion that a photoshoot is the modern form of a love letter.
A love letter was a way of telling your special someone how you felt about them, and part of what made it so meaningful was that it took a while to compose. A photoshoot in Paris is a process that includes thinking, preparing, “writing”, editing, admiring the result, and sending it to the addressee in the form of publications on social media. Love letters aren’t over — use a photoshoot in Paris to say I love you.
